C. T. Studd — Biographies and Information

C.T. Studd Charles Thomas (C.T.) Studd (1860-1931) was an English missionary who faithfully served his Saviour in China, India, and Africa. His motto was: "If Jesus Christ is God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too great for me to make for Him."

Marriage and Family:
Priscilla StuddPriscilla Stewart Studd (1864-1929) was born Priscilla Livingstone Stewart in Lisburn, near Belfast, Ireland, August 28, 1864. She met C. T. in China where she had gone as a missionary. They were married April 7, 1888 and had four daughters (Grace, Dorothy, Edith, Pauline). Two sons died in infancy. They spent most of the last 16 years of their married life apart with C. T. in Africa and she in England overseeing the newly formed mission (Worldwide Evangelisation Crusade). She died in 1929. Shown in a 1921 photograph.
