God's Word for Youth

1. When choosing entertainment.
"Abstain from all appearance of evil." (I Thess. 5:22).

2. When going on a date. "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." (I Cor. 6:19, 20).

3. When ridiculed for witnessing. "And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name" (Acts 5:41).

4. When working at home. "It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth." (Lam. 3:27).

5. When instructed by parents. "Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right." (Eph. 6:1).

6. When taking a test. "Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly." (Heb. 13:18).

7. When speaking of others. "To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men." (Titus 3:2).

8. When participating in sports. "And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully." (II Tim. 2:5).

9. When insulted for doing well. "For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God." (I Pet. 2:20).

10. When choosing companions. "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" (II Cor. 6:14).

11. When planning the future. "Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me." (Ps. 119:133).

12. When thinking unclean thoughts. "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure ... think on these things." (Phil. 4:8).

God has a plan, a most marvelous and successful plan ... for YOU! He earnestly desires to work out this plan in your life. Don't spoil the plan.
