Marriage and Family:
J. Wilbur Chapman married Irene E. Steddon in May 10, 1882. She died a
month after giving birth to their first child, Bertha Irene, born April
1, 1886.
Chapman married Agnes Pruyn Strain, November 4, 1888 and they had four
children: Robert (who died in infancy), J. Wilbur, Jr., Alexander Hamilton,
and Agnes Pruyn. Agnes (his wife) died June 25, 1907.
Chapman married Mabel Cornelia Moulton on August 30, 1910. Mabel died May
13, 1969.
