Philip P. Bliss Gospel Songwriters Museum

The Museum was formed in 1964 to preserve the memory of P. P. Bliss and other gospel songwriters from Bradford County, Pennsylvania, who wrote many of the beloved Christian hymns during the 1800's. The Museum is in the house that Mr. Bliss purchased in 1863 for his parents.

The Museum houses numerous items associated with P. P. Bliss and other Bradford County musicians including Daniel B. Towner. Items relating to Bliss include:
