The Museum was formed in 1964 to preserve the memory of
P. P. Bliss and other gospel songwriters from Bradford County,
Pennsylvania, who wrote many of the beloved Christian hymns during
the 1800's. The Museum is in the house that Mr. Bliss purchased
in 1863 for his parents. |
